Clear-Ear Mobile Clinic ("we", "us") is the data controller for the information you provide on this site. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have any questions, email natalie@clear-ear.uk or call 07943 653 621.
What we collect
- Your name, phone, email and address (so we can come to you).
- Relevant medical history you share during booking and consultation.
- Booking and appointment history, and any aftercare notes.
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device - collected only if you consent to analytics cookies.
How we use it
To provide and document your treatment, send appointment confirmations and reminders, take payment, comply with our professional and clinical-record obligations, and to improve this website.
Cookies we use
We use the smallest set of cookies needed to run the booking flow, plus optional analytics cookies only if you agree. The banner that appears on your first visit lets you accept, reject, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time:

Third parties we share data with
We don't sell your data. To deliver the service we use a small number of trusted processors, each under a data-processing agreement:
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase) - secure hosting and database for bookings, login, and the admin dashboard.
- Cal.com - appointment scheduling for the booking flow.
- SumUp - card payments on the day of your appointment.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) - anonymised website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Google Search Console - aggregated, anonymous search-traffic data; no personal data is shared.
- Email delivery - appointment confirmations and reminders sent via our backend's transactional email provider.
Form providers we use
All forms on this site (the contact form, postcode checker, and booking flow) submit directly to our own Lovable Cloud backend. We do not use third-party form embeds such as Typeform, Jotform, or Google Forms. The Cal.com booking widget is loaded only when you reach the booking page.
How long we keep your data
Clinical records are kept for the period required by our professional indemnity insurer (typically 8 years for adult patients, longer for under-18s). Booking and contact-form data outside clinical records is kept for up to 2 years, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email natalie@clear-ear.uk. You can also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
